Empowering Future Leaders: Supporting ROTC Cadets

The Bulldog Brigade Military Alumni Association (BBMAA), a 501(c)3 non-profit, is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of ROTC cadets and promoting their professional growth and development. Our program also serves the University of Alabama at Huntsville and Athens State University and all students enrolled in the ROTC program at Alabama A& M University

About The Bulldog Brigade Military Alumni Association

The second commissioning ceremony took place on May 8, 2025, at Alabama A&M University, hosted by Brigadier General Tonri Brown, AAMU Class of 1997. This ceremony celebrated the commissioning of six new officers:

  • 2LT Justin Arrington, U.S. Army Reserve, Military Intelligence

  • 2LT Courtney Barrett, Active Duty, Signal Corps

  • 2LT Anthony Bolden, U.S. Army Reserve, Signal Corps

  • 2LT Emily Brown, U.S. Army Reserve, Transportation Corps

  • 2LT Mia Perry, Active Duty, Transportation Corps

  • 2LT Tra Derrius Robinson, Army National Guard, Military Police​

These six new Second Lieutenants exemplify the Bulldog Battalion’s commitment to excellence, leadership, and service. Their commissioning marks the beginning of their journey as officers in the U.S. Army, and we proudly salute their achievement.

 

All six are proud members of the Bulldog Brigade Military Alumni Association (BBMA).

Who We Support

The BBMA supports the professional development of Cadets exiting the ROTC program by raising funds for scholarships. The Military Science Program has commissioned the 1000th Cadet since ROTC s founding at Alabama A&M, and also supports ROTC students at the University of Alabama at Huntsville and Athens State University.
