Mission Statement

The mission of the BBMAA is to render support to the ROTC program, through mentorship, scholarships and other financial assistance to the Cadets and the ROTC program where possible. To build a network of graduates dedicated to promoting the ROTC program and its mission.

Meet Our President

COL(R) Anthony Wilson

COL Anthony L. Wilson Sr. (Retired) is a native of Pensacola, FL. He enlisted in the Army under the delayed entry program as a 71L (Administrative Specialist). He was awarded the Army Green to Gold Scholarship and is a Distinguished Military Graduate of Alabama A&M University Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), where he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into the Ordnance Corps in May 2000. Prior to entering the civilian sector and his retirement from the United States Army in 2024, Anthony was the Director Public and Congressional Affairs/Future Operations/Initiatives Group for the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM). Throughout his career, he served in numerous strategic, operational, and tactical staff and command positions. His assignments included commanding at the Company, Battalion, and Brigade level; including serving in five combat deployments overseas. He had three assignments in the Pentagon serving twice in the Department of the Army G4 and a tour on the Joint Staff J4. Anthony also had two tours in the Army Materiel Command (AMC) as the Aide de Camp and Assistant Executive Officer to the Deputy Commanding General.

His education accomplishments includes a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in Logistics from Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University. He also has a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. He attended National Defense University (ICAF) and received a Master of Science with a concentration in National Resource Strategy. He has a certification from SOLE - The International Society of Logistics as a Demonstrated Master Logistician.
